Syringe Assembly Process Overview

• The syringe assembly process is a critical stage in disposable syringe manufacturing, where individual molded components are automatically assembled into finished syringes with consistent quality and high efficiency. A typical automatic syringe assembly process includes the following steps:

• 1. Component Feeding and Orientation

• Syringe barrels, plungers, and other components are automatically fed into the assembly system through vibration bowls or conveyors. Precise orientation ensures that each component enters the assembly process in the correct position.

• 2. Automatic Insertion and Assembly

• The plunger is accurately inserted into the syringe barrel using controlled mechanical or pneumatic systems. Assembly parameters are precisely set to maintain dimensional consistency and smooth movement of the plunger inside the barrel.

• 3. Lubrication and Siliconization

• Medical-grade silicone oil is applied to the inner surface of the syringe barrel during assembly. This step ensures smooth plunger movement and stable injection performance while meeting medical usage requirements.

• 4. Needle Mounting (Optional)

• For syringes requiring needle assembly, the needle hub is automatically mounted and secured to the syringe barrel. The assembly process is designed to ensure reliable connection and alignment in compliance with medical standards.

• 5. Inspection and Output

• Assembled syringes are inspected for assembly accuracy, appearance, and functionality. Qualified products are automatically discharged for downstream processes such as packaging or sterilization.
